The "Achieve" style provides more writing space for recording homework and after-school planning. |

|
This hanging file organizer provides a durable and flexible storage system for home storage of school papers.
One the core organizing principles in SOAR® is to have a location at home for storing papers that is *easily accessible.* Students can hang this file on the back of their door and transfer papers from their binder in less than 20 seconds...with one hand! The Pendaflex Mobile File is a favorite tool among students and parents! |
Binder
|
The binder is a critical element of the organizing process in SOAR®. We recommend that each student have ONE 1.5" view-binder, as pictured here. |
Poly Folders
|
Students need to have one individual folder for each class that they are currently taking. (One package includes five folders). |
Timer
|
As described in the SOAR® resources, a timer is an invaluable tool to help students monitor their use of time motivate them to work more efficiently. |
Family Calendar
|
The SOAR® program coaches and encourages students to communicate and coordinate with their families. This family calendar allows plenty of room for all family members to coordinate schedules and reduce last-minute situations that waste a lot of time and cause a lot of frustration.
PLEASE NOTE: Make sure you are ordering a calendar for the current year! We will provide a link for the 2008-2009 calendar as soon as it is available. |

The Organized Student
|
This book provides extremely in-depth ideas and solutions for tackling organization. Many of the concepts and strategies are excellent, but several are a little more complicated than SOAR® would normally endorse. However, the author makes it clear that she is providing several options so students can select the strategies that work best for them.
This book is intended as a resource for parents and educators who will coach students through the organizational process. |
